Now

Last updated: June 2026

This page is a snapshot of what has my attention right now. Inspired by the Now Page movement, it reflects what I’m currently exploring, creating, learning, and living.

Writing

I’m continuing to publish on Angelorum.co, where I write about Tarot, astrology, angels, mythology, and conscious perception.

At the same time, I’m rediscovering the quieter pleasure of blogging for the sake of blogging. After years of algorithms, optimisation, and the pressure to constantly create content, I’m feeling drawn back to the slower rhythms of the early internet.

Thoughts at the Crossroads is part of that return.

Healing

One of the biggest themes in my life right now is healing.

After nearly two years of increasing pain, I’m waiting for a hip replacement. My left hip is now bone-on-bone, which has changed how I move through the world and forced me to rethink my relationship with strength, patience, and physical limitation.

I’m currently focusing on gentle strength training, mobility work, and supporting my body as best I can while I wait for surgery.

All this while navigating perimenopause, a great mystery that would have had me stumped if it weren’t for ChatGPT. Seriously.

Fasting

Recently, I completed a five-day devotional fast dedicated to Hekate.

I began the fast seeking direction. I did receive clarity, but the greater gifts were a deeper appreciation for simplicity, authenticity, and presence.

The experience stripped life back to its essentials and reminded me how much noise we carry unnecessarily. At the end of the fast, I realised how done I was with the social media hamster wheel. This blog is a result of that.

Current Curiosities

Lately, my attention has been drawn to:

• The relationship between fasting, intuition, and perception.

• Hekate as Soteira, guide through liminal spaces, and World Soul.

• Building a quieter online life centred on writing rather than performance.

• The changing landscape of blogging and independent publishing.

• What it means to create meaningful work and a legacy in the second half of life.

Reading the Signs

If there’s a theme running through this season of my life, it is transition.

Some doors are closing. Others are opening. Cronedom beckons… and I’d be lying if I said I welcome it all. But I’m willing to acknowledge my resistance and ask Spirit for help and guidance.

A new website has appeared out of the blue. Old assumptions about social media are being questioned. New possibilities are beginning to take shape.

For now, I’m trying not to rush ahead of the process. I tend to hyperfocus to the point of burnout… So, deep breath…

One step at a time.

At the crossroads,

🌹 Lisa
